Katie Albertson MEd, RCC
Hi, I'm Katie
I’m a trauma-informed RCC offering online therapy to people across B.C.
Clients often describe feeling a sense of relief in our work together, as if the parts of themselves they’ve long set aside finally have room to be seen and understood.
My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and deep respect for your pace and boundaries.

I help people wanting to shift long-standing patterns, build self-trust, and better understand themselves.
You don’t need to have everything figured out to start therapy; you just need a willingness to begin. I’ll meet you there.

As an RCC, our sessions may be covered by your extended health benefits.

Credentials
What is a Registered Clinical Counsellor?
The Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) designation from the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors is a mark of quality and trust in therapy. To become an RCC, therapists must complete a Master's degree, gain extensive hands-on experience, and adhere to strict ethical standards. RCC therapists regularly engage in mentorship and accountability with other professionals, ensuring they provide the highest level of care. This designation also means that many insurance plans may cover your sessions, giving you added peace of mind.
Many extended health plans include coverage for sessions with an RCC.
