Understanding Trauma

Trauma isn’t just what happened,  it’s what happened inside you as a result. Therapy can help you heal old wounds and reconnect with a sense of safety and self-trust.

How I can help

My approach to trauma therapy weaves together attachment science (EFT), parts work (IFS) and somatic techniques to regulate your nervous system.

Together, we can:

  • Build awareness of how trauma shows up in your body and drives your emotions and behaviour

  • Use grounding and regulation tools to feel more present and safe

  • Befriend protective parts that hold fear, anger, or shame

  • Learn to relate to your trauma with self compassion

  • Integrate past experiences so they no longer define you
